SSC PREMIER & SSC STRONGHOLD HOME FIELD TRAVEL DIRECTIONS

In the soccer world, fields are a precious commodity, to be prized and preserved. And as with many clubs, SSC gets access to most of its fields with the cooperation of hosts whose hospitality cannot be lightly abused. Please help us maintain our good relationships by following some obvious rules and using just pure common sense and courtesy. We'll reciprocate when we visit your place!

• Park in designated lots and spots only. Do not drive vehicles over fields!
• Please pick up trash, water bottles, athletic tape, etc. from your team area as you leave.
• Be exuberant, supportive fans, but do so at the soccer pitch. Respect the behavioral expectations of adjoining residential and commercial areas.
• Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking tobacco (well, smoking anything actually...) at a youth sports event. (Yes, we know its open air, but cigarette butts tend to wind up all over the grounds.)

DIRECTIONS TO MT. ST. JOHN'S ACADEMY FIELDS

From INTERSTATE 287 NORTH or SOUTH:

1. Take Interstate 287 to Exit 22 for Route 206 North. From here, it is about 7.2 miles to the field.
2. Stay to the left for Route 206 North.
3. Travel North on Route 206 for about 3.8 miles to the 4th light.
4. Turn right onto Holland Avenue, following the arrow of a green road sign pointing to Peapack. Continue on Holland Avenue 0.4 miles to a tee intersection, and turn left onto County Road 512 (Main Street).
5. Travel on County Route 512 / 647 North (Main Street) through Gladstone for approximately 1.3 miles, passing the bank. Look for the green Mt. St. Johns sign just above the white Montgomery Academy sign (on the same post) on your right just before Mosle Road.
6. Turn right onto Mosle Road. Travel on Mosle Road about 0.8 miles to the 4th left turn. Again note the green Mt. St. Johns sign at the intersection of Mt. St. Johns Road and Mosle Road.
7. Turn left onto Mt. St. Johns Road. Travel approximately 0.9 miles uphill on the winding road until it comes to the Mt. St. Johns Academy at the crest of the hill.
8. Continue around the main building, make a sharp right turn past Fatima Hall, taking a final lane downhill to the parking lot. Park only on the black top area.

From old ROUTE 24 through MENDHAM from MORRISTOWN or CHESTER:

1. Take old Route 24 (sometimes marked Route 124 on maps) heading West from Morristown (passing Delbarton on your left) continuing on Main Street through Mendham.
2. Once you pass the Black Horse Inn on your right, it is just over a mile to Roxciticus Road turning left.

OR

1. If coming from Chester, take old Route 24 just over three miles East from the intersection of Route 517 and Route 24 in the middle of town
2. Shortly after passing the firehouse on your right, look for Roxciticus Road turning to your right.

THEN

3. Travel South on Roxciticus Road about four miles, passing Gill St. Bernard School on your right.
4. Shortly thereafter, turn left on Jackson Avenue.
5. After a short distance, turn left again onto Mosle Road.
6. After about a half mile on Mosle, you should spot the green Mt. St. Johns Academy sign at the intersection of Mt. St. Johns Road and Mosle Road.
7. Turn left onto Mt. St. Johns Road. Travel approximately 0.8 miles uphill on the winding road until it comes to the Mt. St. Johns Academy at the crest of the hill.
8. Continue around the main building, make a sharp right turn past Fatima Hall, taking a final lane downhill to the parking lot and fields. Park only on the black top area.

DIRECTIONS TO PHARMACIA / PFIZER FIELDS IN GLADSTONE NJ

From Bridgewater going NORTH on U.S. HIGHWAY 206:

1. Take Interstate 78 to Interstate 287 heading North.
2. Take US Highway 206 heading north from Interstate 287.
3. About four miles north, at light, turn right and head East onto Holland Avenue.
4. Go to end and turn left (North) onto Route 512 / Mendham Road. Proceed for 0.6 miles.
5. Turn left onto Park Avenue (narrow side road) from Mendham Road in Peapack.
6. Follow Park Avenue past the pond, over the bridge and over the railroad tracks.
7. Just past the tracks, park your car and take path left to fields.

From Chester going SOUTH on U.S HIGHWAY 206:

1. Go through light at Pottersville Road as you are entering Peapack on US Highway 206.
2. Travel another one and a half miles South to another light on Route 206 at Holland Avenue.
3. Turn left and head East on Holland Avenue.
4. Go to end and turn left (North) onto Route 512 / Mendham Road. Proceed for 0.6 miles.
5. Turn left onto Park Avenue (narrow side road) from Mendham Road in Peapack.
6. Follow Park Avenue past the pond, over the bridge and over the railroad tracks.
7. Just past the tracks, park your car and take path left to fields.

PLEASE PARK ALONGSIDE THE ROAD LEADING TOWARDS THE FIELDS, AND NOT IN THE PARKING AREA NEAR LEFT FIELD OF THE BABE RUTH BASEBALL FIELD - THAT AREA IS RESERVED FOR BASEBALL.

DIRECTIONS TO PURNELL SCHOOL IN POTTERSVILLE NJ

From South:

1. Take Route 206 North to Pottersville Road.
2. Turn left at light onto Pottersville Road. Stay on this road for about 2 miles.
3. Take SECOND entrance to Purnell School on right.
4. Park in lot on left, or on overflow area grass behind lot. DO NOT PARK IN CIRCLE OR ON ROADS ADJACENT TO FIELDS. THIS IS A BOARDING SCHOOL AND VISITORS ARE REQUESTED TO RESPECT SCHOOL FACILITIES.

From East:

• Interstate 78 West to Route 206 and follow directions above.

From West:

1. Interstate 78 to Oldwick Exit.
2. Go north to Oldwick, following Route 525 when it turns right at Melick's Farm.
3. Go 3 miles to Black River Road.
4. Turn left and follow to Pottersville. Pass the turn at white church.
5. Continue up road to parking area behind

DIRECTIONS TO BLACK RIVER FIELDS IN CHESTER NJ

From the NORTH:

1. From State Highway 10, about seven miles west of Interstate 287, take County Road 513, known as Dover-Chester Road, heading SOUTH.
2. After about 5 to 6 miles, you will pass Black River Wildlife Area on your right.
3. Note that at Chester town line, County Route 513 becomes known as North Road.
4. After the Wildlife Area ends, fields will be on your right.

From the NORTHWEST:

1. Take U.S. Highway 206 heading SOUTH.
2. When you reach Main Street in Chester, you will see Larison's Turkey Farm restaurant on your right at a traffic light.
3. Take a left at the traffic light onto Route 24, also known as Main Street.
4. After a short distance, there will be another intersection with a traffic light and a sign for County Route 513, also known as North Road, heading straight ahead through the light for about another mile.
5. On the left you will pass Black River Middle School and a farmhouse, before coming to the Fields on your left.

From the SOUTH:

1. Take U.S. Highway 206 heading NORTH towards Chester.
2. When you see Larison's Turkey Farm restaurant, take a right at that traffic light onto Route 24, also known as Main Street.
3. After a short distance, there will be another intersection with a traffic light and a sign for County Route 513, also known as North Road, heading straight ahead through the light for about another mile.
4. On the left you will pass Black River Middle School and a farmhouse, before coming to the Fields on your left.

From the MORRISTOWN AREA in the EAST:

1. Take Route 24 heading WEST from Morristown. (From Interstate I-287, take Madison Avenue toward Morristown, right onto South Street, around Morristown Green, right onto Washington Street which is Route 24 heading out of town.)
2. Road is Main Street through Mendham town center, and again becomes Main Street in Chester.
3. At major intersection with traffic light about 11 miles west of Morristown, see sign for County Route 513, also known as North Road.
4. Take Right onto North Road.
5. Fields are about one mile down on left, after passing Black River Middle School and a farmhouse.

DIRECTIONS TO CHUBB PARK FIELDS IN CHESTER NJ

From the NORTH:

1. From State Highway 10, about seven miles west of Interstate 287, take County Road 513, known as Dover-Chester Road, heading SOUTH.

4. When you get to a traffic light, Old Route 24 comes in from the left and you will proceed on Routes 24 / 513 for about a mile into the center of Chester. At another light, with Larison's Turkey Farm restaurant in front of you on the right side, go through the light straight ahead.
5. Proceed _ mile, and entrance to Chubb Park will be on your right.
6. Fields are in rear of park.

From the NORTHWEST:

1. Take U.S. Highway 206 heading SOUTH.
2. When you reach Main Street in Chester, you will see Larison' Turkey Farm restaurant in front of you on the right.
3. Take a right at traffic light onto old Route 24.
4. Proceed _ mile, and entrance to Chubb Park will be on your right.
5. Fields are in rear of park.

From the SOUTH:

1. Take U.S. Highway 206 heading NORTH towards Chester.
2. When you see Larison's Turkey Farm restaurant, take a left at that traffic light onto old Route 24.
3. Proceed _ mile, and entrance to Chubb Park will be on your right.

From the MORRISTOWN AREA in the EAST:

DIRECTIONS TO GILL ST. BERNARD'S SCHOOL FIELDS IN GLADSTONE NJ
St. Bernard's Road - Gladstone, NJ 07934 - 908-234-1611

From SOUTH of the school:

1. Take Interstate 287 North to Exit 22B (U.S. Highways 202-206 North).
2. Follow Route 206 North for 4.8 miles to the traffic light at Pottersville Road (Route 512).
3. Turn RIGHT onto Pottersville Road; continue 0.25 miles to the stop sign. (Main Street).
4. Turn LEFT onto Main Street.
5. Follow Main Street for 1 mile, bearing LEFT at the Y intersection.
6. You will see the open fields and buildings of Gill St. Bernard's School on your RIGHT.
7. Turn RIGHT at the next street -- St. Bernard's Road.
8. Make first RIGHT into school.

From NORTH of the school:

1. Take U.S. Highway 206 South.
2. After the traffic light at the intersection with State Highway 24 in Chester, continue another 1.2 miles.
3. Turn LEFT at the sign for Peapack-Gladstone (Old Chester Road).
4. Continue 2.4 miles.
5. Turn LEFT onto St. Bernard's Road.
6. Make first RIGHT into school.

DIRECTIONS TO SOCCER CENTERS FIELD IN SOMERSET NJ
300 Memorial Drive - Somerset, NJ 08873 - 732-748-4625

From Interstate-287 North or South:

1. Approach from I-287 either North or South to Exit 12.
2. At the end of the ramp, make a Left onto Weston Canal Road.
3. At the first light, make a Left onto Cottontail Lane.
4. Go 7/10 of a mile and make a Right onto Memorial Drive.
5. Soccer Centers will be ahead of you at the end of the street.

DIRECTIONS TO COBBLESTONE FIELDS

From the North traveling on US Highway 206 South:

1. Rt. 206 South to Interstate 80 East to exit 27A (Somerville Exit), then back on to Rt. 206 South. Follow Rt. 206 South for 4.2 miles.
2. Just before the overpass in Flanders, make a RIGHT onto Bartley Road.
3. Follow Bartley Road for 5 miles to the end, bearing left at the tee and right at the fork and through the light.
4. Turn right onto Route 24 West and follow for about one mile into town.
5. At the light, turn right onto Schooley's Mountain Road.
6. Follow for 2 miles to a left onto Pleasant Grove Road.
7. Take first left past Firehouse with Church on the corner (If you pass Schooleys Mountain General Store, you went too far.)
8. Follow Pleasant Grove Road for 3/4 miles.
9. Make a right onto Glen Ridge Road and follow for about 1/3 mile.
10. Turn right onto Cobblestone Lane.
11. Field Complex is 100 feet on left - Cobblestone Front is the field you can see from parking lot, Cobblestone Rear is behind Cobblestone Front.

From the East traveling on Interstate 80 West
or from the North to Interstate 80 West via Interstate 287:
** Note: There is no Exit 26 from Rt. 80 Eastbound **

1. Interstate 80 West to Exit 26 (Budd Lake Exit) onto US Highway 46 West.
2. Follow Route 46 West for 4.8 miles.
3. At light turn left onto Drakestown/Naughright Road. (Exxon Station & Johnson Dodge on your LEFT at light.)
4. Follow Naughright Road for 2.7 miles.
5. Turn right onto Flocktown Road.
6. Follow Flocktown Road for 2 miles to stop sign.
7. At the stop sign, turn left onto Schooley's Mountain Road.
8. Follow for 1/4 mile to a right onto Pleasant Grove Road. (Just past Schooley's Mountain Store, Church is on the corner.)
9. Follow Pleasant Grove Road for 3/4 miles.
10. Make a right onto Glen Ridge Road and follow for about 1/3 mile.
11. Turn right onto Cobblestone Lane.
12. Field Complex is 100 feet on left - Cobblestone Front is the field you can see from parking lot, Cobblestone Rear is behind Cobblestone Front.

If you are coming from the East:

1. Travel west on Interstate 78 to exit 29, follow signs to get on Interstate 287 North.
2. Take exit 22B (Routes 202/206 North) - this will be the second exit after you get on 287. The exit ramp is a long loop; stay to the right when you come out of the loop.
3. Continue on 202/206 through the stop light at River Road. About 1/2 mile after the light, 202/206 splits. Stay to the right to continue on Route 202 towards Far Hills and Morristown.
4. Take the first right onto Miller Lane (look for a big yellow day care sign just before Miller Lane).
5. The soccer field is past the police station at the end of the road.

If you are coming from the South:

1. Travel north on Interstate 287 to exit 22B (Routes 202/206 North) - this will be the second exit after you pass under Interstate 78.
2. The exit ramp is a long loop; stay to the right when you come out of the loop.
